By education I am an artist-designer of furniture and interiors, but dolls in my life, it seems, have always been. I remember that I had two dolls in Russian boyar costumes during my graduation work in applied arts at an art school. Since that time, I have had my love for the national costume, and not only for the Russian one. Any national costume is the embodiment of the history, culture, philosophy of a people. And this is especially interesting - to make not just beautiful girls, but to invent a whole story and convey it in the form of a doll.
True, I still have much more ideas than already created images. For a long time, I, like many others, tried to combine work with the creation of dolls. It turned out rather slowly. Nevertheless, among my achievements of that time - courses on dolls in famous Moscow schools of this skill, a diploma of professional retraining in the course "Dolls: Art and Design" from the National Institute of Design, participation in international doll exhibitions.
Already after leaving the office, I discovered a new stage of inspiration and development in my favorite business. Since the fall of 2020, after participating in the competition "Let's dance", where I became a silver medalist, I have been a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Decorative and Applied Arts in the section of the Artistic Doll.
Now my main occupations are dolls and making doll furniture. And this is what brings me pleasure and inspires me to new achievements.
Composition "Cloud Maidens"
Description Ideas
Cloud Maidens are female heavenly spirits in Slavic mythology. My virgins are sisters Lada, Lelya, Lesya. It is believed that they spin golden threads of lightning from the clouds for Perun himself. Therefore, my maidens have gold fingers. And when it rains, the heavenly spinners dance. And I made them dance. In a mystical dance, mysterious and bewitching. They dance as if performing some kind of ritual. Therefore, their faces are serious and detached. But there is another reason for their sadness. In the dance, they remember their loved ones - three brothers, from whom they were separated by the will of fate a long time ago. This is, if only briefly. Equipment
The dolls are made of self-hardening material based on papier-mâché and Darwi roc. Additional materials: wire frame, kanekalon, silk, beads, wood. Painting: acrylic, watercolor, pastel.

The cost
A composition of three dolls costs 1000 €, dolls can be purchased separately, the cost of one doll is 350 €.
