Tina Vassa
Kristina Vassa Valerievna was born on July 24, 1976. Lives in St. Petersburg, Russia.
She began her career in 2003 after graduating from the Academy of Arts. Repin in St. Petersburg. A book illustrator by education.
In search of her favorite business, she was engaged in interior design, furniture, household items, art metal, painting and graphics. Participated in general and personal exhibitions. Author of illustrations for the book about Lermontov by the famous Russian poet Andrei Dementyev.
Since 2013, she has discovered the world of puppetry art and has become an annual participant in the exhibitions "time of dolls", "teddy fun", "spring ball of dolls", "international salon of designer dolls", "Munecart", "Art of the doll", doll exhibitions in Prague and Czech Republic, "Fantanuma" in Japan, etc. Participant and winner of the competitions "doll of the year", "Pandora", "Gaudir". Has awards from the Pandora Platinum and Gaudir competition and a star from the International Salon of Author's Dolls.

The work is done in mixed media with the use of antique household items, forged parts of the author's work, textiles, mechanisms, wood, self-hardening clay and accessories. Painting and toning is done with tempera, watercolors and pastels. It is rather not a doll, but an Art object with dolls and their details. Doll within a doll. Details of such a doll can be transformed and moved, removed and added.
